I drove by the Daniels Creek land on Daniels Parkway on Sunday, October 11, 2026, and took these photos. Here's what's there right now.

What I saw
- A paved construction entrance, with yellow mats that knock mud off truck tires before they reach the road
- Heavy equipment parked on a cleared pad: a forestry machine, bulldozers and an excavator
- Black silt fence along the wetland edges to hold back runoff
- Lennar flags and a "Coming Soon · Daniels Creek · Resort-Style Living" sign with the number (239) 208-6417
- A Lennar job-site sign about stormwater rules, marked "Permitting"

What this means
Equipment and a construction entrance usually mean the land is being prepared. Clearing, fill and drainage come before roads and homes. The county record still lists Daniels Creek as "Permitting," and the sign on site says the same, so this is site work, not home building yet.
What we still don't know
Lennar has not released floor plans, prices, HOA or CDD fees, or a sales date. When they do, I'll post it here and send it to the early list.
Tip for buyers
If you call the number on the sign or visit a Lennar sales office, bring your own agent on your first visit or register them first. The builder's sales team works for the builder; your agent works for you. More in my guide: How to buy new construction in Fort Myers.
